Cookie Policy
Last updated · 20 July 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on zabardastapp.pk, what they do, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between page loads and between visits. "Similar technologies" covers things that do much the same job by other means - browser storage, pixels and tracking scripts. Where we say "cookies" below, we mean all of these.
What we use, and why
We keep this deliberately short. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you beyond measuring our own ads, and we do not sell data to anyone.
| Category | Who sets it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Zabardast (first-party browser storage) | Remembers that you've already joined the waitlist so we don't show you the form again or count your signup twice, and keeps your referral code so your share link works. The site can't function properly without these. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (G-DLSFK1JS8F) |
Tells us how many people visit, which pages they see and where they drop off, so we can improve the site. Aggregated - we don't use it to identify you. |
| Tag management | Google Tag Manager (GTM-MTJ9CHT7) |
A container that lets us manage the tags above and our Google Ads conversion tracking without changing the site's code. It doesn't collect anything by itself. |
| Advertising | Meta Pixel (2458007581353487) |
Measures whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to signups, and lets us show relevant ads. Sets cookies such as _fbp. |
| Advertising | TikTok Pixel (D92G923C77UDRLSQ9R70) |
Measures whether our TikTok ads lead to signups, and lets us show relevant ads on TikTok. |
Measuring signups server-side
When you join the waitlist we also report that conversion to Meta and TikTok directly from our server, not just from your browser. That report includes a hashed (scrambled, one-way) version of your email address so they can match the signup to an ad you may have seen. The hashing is irreversible - they can't read your email from it - and both the browser and server signals share an ID so a single signup is never counted twice. There is more detail in our Privacy Policy.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items above may mean the site forgets you've joined and shows you the signup form again.
You can also opt out of specific tools:
- Google Analytics - the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
- Meta - your Meta ad settings.
- TikTok - ad personalisation in your TikTok account settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
